The sad thing in all of this is the comments made by Criterion stating a game like burnout could never been realized until the PS3 and the power of the Cell but the only difference between the two are a little shinier graphics on the PS3. Gamingskills 5344d ago (Edited 5344d ago )Īre you Sony fanboys ok? How do you get "a little shinier" as meaning a game is superior? Now if they had said the framerate or something that makes the game almost unplayable then I can see you raising your arms in victory but as it stand now I'll just wait to Gametrailers does a comparison before I pass judgement. It looks like this is a sign of things to come, so 360 owners will just have to accept that some titles will be better on PS3, and vice- versa.īuy both machines and get the best version for each game - thats my stratagey! :) Given the number of shoddy ports PS3 owners have had to suffer, and the insults and derision this has brought from xbox fanboys like yourself, its only natural that they will crow when a great muti platform title actually favours their machine of choice. Both versions are excellent, and while the PS3 may be a bit better, the 360 version is a fine game in its own right. Haven't played it extensively enough to see if its a system issue, but I've seen slowdown on the 360 that I haven't on the PS3.īut this is minor. My 360 set up cost me significantly more than my PS3 set up - and I bought my Ps3 at realease before the cheaper models.Īs for this game, I've got both demo's and the PS3 does look sharper and sleeker. I like my 360, but its only the terminally dumb that pretends its not actually a more expensive option for your average gamers needs. Never mind the absurdity of releasing a console thats targetted spcifically at online games, but makes you pay to get Wifi connected. There is no excuse for this at all, its a blatent rip off, as every single 360 owner will absolutely need this for each controller, and thats a significant cost. However, the 360 makes you pay for a rechargeable pack. Though I'm not a big fan of rummbel at all and tend to switch it off for the most part anyway. But,that is something that will be rectified next year when all machines will come with rummble, and in the meantime its an expense we will have to pay. It was shame that the legal tussle Sony had, meant the original six axis didn't include rummble, and this was stupid issue of their own making. Gee mart - I do try and stay out of these trolling matches, but your comments are unbelievably stupid. I can't wait to see how it turns out with all 8 players, different cars, all the modes, and the whole city unlocked. Online mode is pretty fun with the 4 players in the demo, crashing into each other and going after the mini challenges is awesome. The coolest thing is that you never lose your place in the world from all of this, it's so seamless. A few taps of the dpad takes care of all of this too. If you have friends online and they're playing the demo as well they can jump right in from an invite or by themselves (if there are open spaces) or invite you to their games. If not you have the option of starting an online mode yourself which is usually populated in seconds afterwards. If there are games running there are 1-3 other people now driving in the map with you and voice chat is enabled. Three quick taps of the right direction on the dpad gets you online, yes it's really that quick. After that you can just smash your car up or search for all of the shortcuts and billboards to crash through. There are 3 demo events, a burning route, a stunt run, and a race. After that you're let loose to do anything you want within the confines of the demo map. When you get in the game you're given a beater car and sent off to drive through the repair.
